Akashi 12 Years Single Malt whisky was crafted by a Toji [sake master-brewer] and aged in Spanish sherry cask. Eigashima is the only distillery in the world that crafts it’s whisky by a Toji. Eigashima Shuzo, although formally founded in 1888, traces its origins back to 1679. By 1919, the distillery received it’s whisky production license, the first ever in Japan.

The “Illustrated Handscroll of Various People” is a Ukiyo-e style work of art by renowned artist Santō Kyōden in Emakimono form. A collection of 26 illustrations of people and their different professions, this scroll draws its inspiration from the “The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter”, the oldest ‘Monogatari’ (prose narrative) in Japanese literature.
